The English language is rich in words and meaningful phrases. However, some words seem in spelling and sound, but there are differences in their meaning.
To understand this, we explain these two words:
"Farther" versus "Further"
Farther is used for physical distances.
Examples:
Her new beach house is farther away from the hospital.
Michel and Richard are farther from Rosie and her sister.
Further is used for figurative distances and abstract ideas.
Examples:
My thoughts are further away from the love that I feel for you. (abstract idea)
Hello guys! Look no further you can sit in whatever place. (figurative distances)
Make your own sentences, and use those words in your conversations to enhance your English.
